It took us two tries to finish up Kasey’s senior session because of some nasty weather, but we got some great ones! Kasey is a great kid–easy going, sweet, and quarterback of his football team! We had some fun playing dress up in the studio with all his football equipment and then explored Fountainbleu State Park in Mandeville and old downtown Covington for his outside stuff.
Thanks so much Kasey! Hope you enjoy!

It does not seem like a year has passed since the first picture was taken of newborn Ryleigh. I know that it has flown by even faster for her parents, L & B. Ryleigh disliked me from the start–and that hasn’t changed any! =) Even though she wasn’t totally game for her birthday portraits, we still managed to sneak some great ones–including some family shots that mom & dad wanted sooo badly. (Just know that there was much swapping of heads and hair!)
Thanks guys! I enjoyed ya’ll, as usual!
I met in Emily, a senior at Hammond High, in beautiful old Hammond for her senior session. It was a gorgeous day with plenty of sunlight to fill those beautiful eyes she has. Emily was a super sweet girl, very chill & easy-going. I really enjoyed photographing her. The brick archway was behind a family member’s store in downtown Hammond, and Brittany and I spotted the garage door on the way into town. We had a fabulous shoot and then met my other assistant who lives in Hammond for some Mexican at La Carretta’s.
Thanks so much Emily–it was great to spend the afternoon with you and your mom!

With all the seniors I’ve been photographing lately, it’s been fun to have a couple of toddlers thrown in the mix. They are TOTALLY different to photograph. Seniors take direction so well, so you know you’re going to get some great shots. But, toddlers, well that’s a different story. In the end, the shots you do score are so rewarding, because you had to work so hard for them. Following a busy toddler around means costantly changing the settings on your camera, flipping through those iso’s and apertures, watching white balance..it’s an exercise in photography knowledge for sure all while running around and hopping up and down on the ground.
Aidan is such a cutie! I had a great time playing with him the other morning!
