Happy Birthday to one of my very dearest friends, Kim.

She is one of those to whom the saying, “Beautiful on the inside and the out,” truly apply. She is strong, beautiful, hilarious, thoughtful, thorough, kind, and so so much fun. She never leaves a detail out, never forgets anything. I’m so glad to call her my friend.

Newborn Audrey Elise was just precious in every way! She arrived at the studio, totally comatose–just the way I like newborns to be. She let me get a bunch of great shots in the beanbag, but when I tried to move her, she got mad! Poor child–I just torture those kids! What a beautiful new family! *Sigh* I just love those little babies!

Meet the wonderful Whitten family! I spent a VERY early morning session them recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their kids are the kind of kids that make me think, “So, what am I doing wrong with mine?” Hahaha. They were wonderful kids. The Whittens home school and I really enjoyed picking their brains about it–it’s always been something I’ve kind of tossed around to do with my kids–maybe at least for a few years. I just know I could teach them and expose them to so much more than they could ever learn sitting in a classroom all day-I just don’t know if my nerves could take it!! Mom, K, is my hero!

I always enjoy these kids, and this session was no exception. Big brother, Braden, is just the most precious little boy–so sweet and mild-mannered. Addison, his little sister, is definitely the spunkier of the two. I know she keeps her mom hopping! They are just gorgeous! We had a great little morning–beautiful weather and lots of sunshine. I know we all have high hopes for Addison and the Golden Girls after seeing her pose in the last one!
