Well, slap my face. I finally took some decent pictures of my precious Cayden. In the past, Cades has been, well, um, less than cooperative. This was a whole new world! Cades is such a precious, precocious, intelligent, funny, & sensitive kid. I feel like these images wrap him up. We had a blast tooling around Old Mandeville & the Lakefront together today. Yay Cayden!

I FINALLY got this little angel in front of my camera. Little Chase made his way into this world in quite a dramatic & untimely fashion in mid June…six weeks early.  As a result, this precious man spent some time in the NICU and worried his poor mama to death. We’re all so happy to finally have him home. His dramatic entrance was totally out of character for this content baby. Chase is one of two newborns I’ve ever photographed that only woke up once, which was made even more extraordinary by the moving ruckus his big brother, Trey was. We finally nailed big T down long enough to capture some sweet shots of two gorgeous boys. Chase is perfect. I’m so excited to watch him grow amidst his beautiful family that I love so much.

I was so excited to do another food porn shoot for my friends at the Grand Forks Restaurant Group and Rambla, as well as shoot Chef Scott Maki of Rambla and new chef at Cuvee, Isaac Toups. Shooting inanimate objects is totally not my bag, baby, but as always, Kenny LaCour & Kim Kringlie are there to help with styling the food. It was a totally different experience than last time I shot for them–we went totally natural light. It was awesome!
