After eyeing this awesome yellow chair for more than a year on a random porch, E & I’s mom finally got up the nerve to ask the owner if we could borrow it. And boy was it ever awesome. These guys are two of my favorite kids to shoot for good reason–they’re adorable and sooooo much fun!

Well, slap my face. I finally took some decent pictures of my precious Cayden. In the past, Cades has been, well, um, less than cooperative. This was a whole new world! Cades is such a precious, precocious, intelligent, funny, & sensitive kid. I feel like these images wrap him up. We had a blast tooling around Old Mandeville & the Lakefront together today. Yay Cayden!

There’s not too many things that delight me more than being able to photograph the families of my childhood friends. I’ve know both Stacey & Blake since I was a wee one and I couldn’t have been happier to meet thier little man, Brycen. We had an amazing time together and managed to sneak off an awesome session before the bottom fell out. B-Man is a huge Thomas the Train fan, so this railroad trestle was just amazing to him! He is a totally hilarious and precocious child, and lucky for me, he now has a HUGE crush on me. It’s pretty serious! =) He even gave me one of his Brycen original canvas paintings for my office. I had a great time with this family and am so glad to have them back in my life.
